MAS Medical Staffing is excited to introduce Instant Pay to all our Healthcare Professionals! This new perk allows you to have control of your hard earned money by simply requesting funds and having them instantly loaded into your MAS Visa Debit Card. We love this new initiative and think you will too! In this FAQ you will find your questions answered.
Does this replace Direct Deposit?
The simple answer is no. Our travelers are allowed to request up to 70% of your hours worked with a valid time card signed by your manager. Therefore, the remainder will be part of your weekly check.
When is the cut off time for requests from the week prior?
MAS Medical Staffing finalizes payroll every Wednesday. Which means that if you would like to make a request for the week prior you have until every Wednesday at 10am EST to request that pay.
Our office hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST Monday through Friday and requests outside of that time may not be processed immediately.
How do I request my Prepaid Visa Card?
All new candidates are eligible for a Prepaid Visa Debit Card. Candidates will be sent a card a week prior to your start date. Please speak to your recruiter to ensure that your mailing address is correct so that your Instant Pay Card gets delivered correctly.
If you are a current traveler and you and have not requested your Prepaid Visa Debit Card you can request one through our payroll department by emailing instantpayrequest@masmedicalstaffing.com. Once requested your card will be sent to the provided mailing address in 5-10 business days.
Can I get a reimbursement on my Prepaid Visa Card?
Yes! You may get reimbursement deposited right into your Prepaid Visa Debit Card. This requires a valid and approved receipt or proof of purchase.
Does the card have any fees associated with it?
Your Instant Pay Prepaid Visa Debit Card is free. However, please refer to the pamphlet that is in the envelope for other standard fees that may apply.
Can this card be used for money transferring apps like Venmo and Apple Pay?
This card is available to be used with apps like Apple Pay, Venmo and PayPal. On the other hand, applications like Cash App are not compatible and trying to use it may shut your card off.
What happens to the Debit Card if I end employment with MAS?
Once you receive your Prepaid Visa Debit Card it remains yours to keep. You may keep filling the card with funds and using regularly.
