MAS Medical Staffing is pleased to announce our partnership with Operation Happy Nurse, an online nursing community focused on improving the overall mental health and physical wellbeing of all healthcare professionals. As many of you may know, our company enjoys giving back to our community and has made many efforts to spread the message of mental health and its importance. What better way to do that than forming a partnership with those wanting to do the same?

Operation Happy Nurse was founded by Shannon McPeek, a neonatal ICU nurse in her fifth year of service. While deeply suffering from work-related anxiety at the beginning of her career, Shannon’s personality and health were at risk. She felt isolated until speaking with colleagues, who she later found out were facing similar struggles. The realization motivated her to start the non-profit community and help nursing professionals overcome the mental and emotional strain that may follow in this profession.

Shannon is not only an inspiration to us but to the many healthcare professionals out there. We are beyond ecstatic to form this union and felt it necessary to bring such a great support system for mental health into the lives of our nursing professionals.
